Ritik Batra is a 4th year Information Science PhD candidate at Cornell Tech, working with Thijs Roumen and Steven Jackson. His research focuses on computational tools for documenting and sharing expert knowledge around physical and digital materials. Before graduate school, he received his B.S. in electrical engineering and computer sciences from UC Berkeley, with minors in data science and political economy. As a DLI fellow, he is interested in how computing can (and cannot) benefit creative practitioners while preserving their craft in an increasingly autonomous-first world.
