Kevin Ren is a second-year PhD student in Computer Science at Cornell Tech, advised by Nikhil Garg. His research explores the intersection of machine learning and society, with recent interests including AI text detection, social choice and alignment in RLHF, and multi-turn interactions for AI agents.

Previously, as an undergraduate at Carnegie Mellon University, Kevin worked on uncertainty calibration for large language models, decision-focused learning, and multi-agent pathfinding, collaborating with Bryan Wilder, Maxim Likhachev, and Steven Wu.
