Jacqueline Maasch

Doctoral Fellow

Jacqueline is a PhD candidate in computer science. They work at the intersection of machine learning and causal inference, with a focus on AI reasoning. Their doctoral research has been supported by the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship and Cornell's Presidential Life Science Fellowship. Their advisors are Fei Wang (chair, CS), Volodymyr Kuleshov (co-chair, CS), Kyra Gan (external minor, ORIE). As a DLI Doctoral Fellow, they will explore the trustworthiness and interpretability of AI reasoning in safety-critical contexts.
