Daniel Enquirez
Doctoral Fellow
Daniel Enriquez is a third year Computer Science PhD student at Cornell Tech, advised by Wendy Ju. His research focuses on communal mixed reality tools that let community members shape the future of their own neighborhoods, turning residents' ideas into discussion points, allowing neighbors to talk about the inhabited space and working towards negotiating a common vision. His research also focuses on using mixed reality for prototyping human robot interactions, allowing people to prototype and create robots while considering the human element along the means of creation. As a DLI fellow, he explores how community visualization tools and visioning projects can influence the discussion of neighbors and participatory planning for future direction of new improvements in neighborhoods.
